These scones are cinnamon-y & sweet & delicious.
and yes, they do look a bit like a boob . . .that was not on purpose.
- 2 cups SR flour of your choice
- ¼ cup yoghurt/plant-based yoghurt
- ¼ cup soda water
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- Around ½ cup raspberries
- Coconut sugar to taste
Preheat oven to 200 C
Place all ingredients except raspberries into a large bowl & combine until a dough forms.
Add some water or more flour as needed
With your hands, roll the dough into balls & place them on a lined baking tray.
Using a finger, push a dent into the middle of the scone (like a thumb-print cookie)
Push 3-4 raspberries into the indentation (so that it looks like a donut with jam in the middle)
Lightly sprinkle of the top of the scones with coconut sugar
Bake for around 10 minutes or until lightly browned
Remove & place on a cooling rack or eat them right away!
